USE & CARE OF YOUR JEWELRY
Your crystals are unique entities that must be cared for with love and respect.
Cleanse your crystals with rose water, moonlight or quiet time in a sacred place. Some like to pass their crystals through sage or incense smoke or rice, or bury their stones in the earth overnight.
Bless your crystals with prayer or meditation and set the intention for their manner of support.
Store them carefully away from direct sunlight.
Do not use perfume or oils on your beads. They are absorbent and foreign chemicals may affect their quality, color, smell or surface shine.
Your beads will absorb your own natural body oils and probably darken over time. This is generally thought to be part of the therapeutic and medicinal quality of santalum and should be embraced.
Do not loan your beads for others to wear - they absorb and maintain the chemical and energetic signature of the wearer.
Sterling silver is a fine metal and should not tarnish, but it may do so if exposed to excess body oils or moisture in the air. Therefore, although it is tempting to display your jewelry, it might be best to store them in an airtight container or bag with an anti-tarnish sheet.
If you find your sterling silver darkening or it becomes dirty, very gently wash it with toothpaste and dry thoroughly to immediately restore its brilliant shine. Then store in an airtight container again.
